Built on Good ’Ole Hot Dogs
In 1976, Bill Lewis figured he could do it better, and he wasn’t wrong. Yesterdog has been serving up good ’ole hot dogs in Eastown ever since, without giving in to trends, cutting corners, or changing much at all.
We’ve been named Best Hot Dog in Grand Rapids by Grand Rapids Magazine every year since 1991, earned the Gold Townie Award, voted Best Hot Dog in Grand Rapids in the Revue West Michigan Best of the West readers’ choice awards 10 years running, and recently called Michigan’s Most Legendary Restaurant by LoveFood.com. Not bad for a place that still only takes cash.

You’ll find us on Wealthy Street in Eastown just outside downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Eastown was originally a streetcar suburb, connecting downtown Grand Rapids to Reeds Lake. Today, it’s a walkable, lived-in mix of old and new. We’ve fit right in for nearly 50 years.
